Community Meeting for Those Opposed to the ICE Warehouse

Community Meeting for those opposed to the I.C.E. warehouse to discuss its local impact and next steps

Tuesday, March 10, 2026 | 6:00 – 7:30 pm
19763 Longmeadow Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21742

There’s no commissioner meeting on March 10, so we’ll have our own.

Come prepared to:
• Generate additional questions for the commissioners
• Brainstorm creative ways to present the questions for maximum impact
• Discuss next steps

NOTE: This meeting is for local residents opposed to the I.C.E warehouse. It is NOT a public forum open to all. There is no equal time for opposing viewpoints at this meeting.

No Kings 3 — Volunteers Needed

No Kings 3 is almost here, and planning is underway. We’re looking for volunteers in the following roles:

  • Safety Marshals to help keep the event calm, organized, and safe. No experience needed — just a steady presence and a willingness to look out for others.
  • Satellite Protest Organizers for morning actions before the main downtown Hagerstown event (especially in Smithsburg and Clear Spring).
  • Car Caravan Participants to decorate vehicles and drive through downtown.
  • Rush Hour Resistance Volunteers to hold letters as part of a coordinated statement in short shifts.

If you’re interested, email Alice at alicejimroberts@gmail.com and let her know which role fits you best.

Pens to Power

Our next Pens to Power event is March 22 from 1-4PM. Please RSVP to alicejimroberts@gmail.com for this and all our events so we always know how many tables and chairs to set up, how many supplies to have ready, etc.

Save the date for April 19 for another in-person letter event, and look out for news about an upcoming local postcard campaign. We'll need help getting these postcards out to the community! Stay tuned for more next week!
