NO KINGS 3 Is Only Days Away!

Join us for No Kings Day III — Indivisible’s NATIONAL day of action.

We’re planning a big day here in Washington County, so get your signs ready and join us for a day of community, joy, and resistance.

Across Maryland, Indivisible chapters are rallying under the banner “No Kings, No Camps” as we say NO to the proposed ICE warehouse in Washington County. Chapters from all over the state are expected to join us in Hagerstown, making this the Maryland flagship event for No Kings Day III.

Here’s how the day will unfold:

Morning Satellite Protests
Start the day at one of our satellite protests around Washington County:

  • Clear Spring
  • Boonsboro
  • Smithsburg

Attend one of these morning gatherings, then make your way to downtown Hagerstown for the main event.

Main Event
📍 Public Square, Downtown Hagerstown
🕐 1:00–3:00 PM

With support from Indivisible chapters across Maryland, we expect a huge turnout as people from around the state come together to stand up for democracy and speak out against detention camps in our community.

Please remember: this is a peaceful event.
No weapons and no violence of any kind.

WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF SOME VOLUNTEERS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Donations of bottled water to the main tent on the Public Square to hand out to protesters

Car Caravan participants: decorate your car and drive through the No Kings protest repeatedly to get the crowd hyped!

Email Alice at: alicejimroberts@gmail.com to let us know which role you’d like to take on.

We can't wait to see you there to make history together!

Voices & Views Book Club: “Vineland”

Meeting: Thursday, March 26 at 6:00 PM
Baile’s Bagels & Brews, 53 W. Washington St., across from University Plaza, Hagerstown

October selection: "Vineland” by Thomas Pynchon. This is the book which inspired the Oscar winning film, “One Battle After Another.” But there are a whole lot of themes and characters and issues to discuss…please join us!

You are not required to finish the book! Come for a pint of Guinness, (or beverage of your choice), stay for a lively discussion.
