NO KINGS 3 Recap

No Kings 3 brought an enthusiastic and joyful vibe this year. We thank our speakers and everyone who helped to make the event possible!

More than 1,000 people rallied across Washington County in Hagerstown, Williamsport, Clear Spring, Boonsboro, and Smithsburg under the banner “No Kings, No Camps!” on Saturday, March 28. said NO to the Trump regime and to the proposed ICE warehouse in Washington County.

Here’s a recap in pictures, with more to come on wcindivisible.com soon:

Pens to Power

Pens to Power will meet in person on April 19 from 1–4 PM. We’ll be writing postcards to Virginia and Vote Forward letters to Pennsylvania.

If you haven’t created a Vote Forward account yet, please do so so we can connect you to our new Washington County Indivisible dashboard, where we’ll track our group’s letter-writing progress. Bring your laptop if you plan to write Vote Forward letters.

Please RSVP to alicejimroberts@gmail.com so we can plan tables, chairs, and supplies. As always, we’ll also be collecting donations for the Eliza’s House food pantry.

We’ll also roll out our new satellite event sign-up this week — watch the Tuesday Weekly Topics email for details. To join the Pens to Power mailing list, email Indivisibleletters@gmail.com.

WCI Rush Hour Resistance

The rain beat us last Friday, but we still waved with the plastic NO KINGS signs. It's an iffy weather forecast but we'll try again this Friday. Meet us on the Appalachian Trail bridge on Friday, April 3 at 4:15 PM to help set up, or stop by before 5:30 PM to wave. Our letters aren't waterproof, so we cancel if it's raining.

Email Dave Williams at dwilliams21783@gmail.com for more information.
