Celebrating 250 Years of Liberty

This Fourth of July marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence—a moment to celebrate not only our nation's founding, but the enduring ideals of liberty, self-government, and the ongoing work of building a more perfect union.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we're reminded that generation after generation has worked to expand these promises, believing that our democracy is strongest when everyone has a voice.

Today, we're especially grateful for each of you. Thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your hope to the work of strengthening our community. Whether you've attended a meeting, written postcards, volunteered, protested peacefully, or simply stayed informed, you've helped carry forward the enduring ideals of our Constitution and our democracy.

We hope you have a safe, joyful, and restful Independence Day with family and friends. Thank you for standing beside us as we continue the work of building a freer, more just, and more welcoming future for all.

Happy Fourth of July!
