Don't miss Voter's Corner, where you can get information about how to vote, voting early, and how to get to the polls.

1,000 Mailers Down.

Help Us Reach 5,000!

Our Election Mailer Campaign is officially underway, and we're already more than one-fifth of the way toward our goal of sending 5,000 mailers to Washington County voters by October 18! Can you help us get there?

Join us for Pens to Power on October 4 or 11, from 1–4 PM, or write mailers at home on your own schedule.

Writing in person? RSVP to alicejimroberts@gmail.com to receive the address and help us plan for enough tables and chairs.

Writing from home? Complete this quick form and we'll get your materials to you.

As always, we'll also be collecting diapers, personal hygiene items and food for local food pantries and the Western Maryland Immigrant Rights Collective. Donations are appreciated!

Stamps Still Needed!

Our General Election mailer is getting closer, and we still need Forever Stamps to help get our message into voters’ mailboxes.

You can contribute to our ActBlue account, or, if you have stamps to spare, bring them to any WCI event or mail them to:

Washington County Indivisible
PO Box 87
Clear Spring, MD 21722

Every stamp helps us reach one more voter.

WMD-IRC Needs Drivers—Can You Give 90 Minutes?

The Western Maryland Immigrant Rights Collective (WMD-IRC) has added more families to its support list — and now needs more volunteer drivers to help get food and essential supplies to them.

Drivers are needed every week, and a delivery shift takes about 90 minutes. Volunteers pick up one family’s weekly packages from the storage site and deliver them directly to the family. Most deliveries are within 15–20 minutes of Hagerstown Public Square.

Drivers complete a brief vetting process before volunteering as part of WMD-IRC’s commitment to protecting the families it serves.

For the children in these families, whatever uncertainty may be happening around them, the everyday needs don’t stop. They still wake up hungry. Giving just 90 minutes can help make sure one family has food and essential supplies for the week.

March to the Polls with Jefferson County!

Join our neighbors in West Virginia for the Jefferson County Voter March on Saturday, October 24. Organized in partnership with Repairers of the Breach and Indivisible Jefferson County, the march will encourage early voting and highlight concerns about voting rights, the war, health insurance and SNAP benefits.

Saturday, October 24 | 1–2 PM

Starting point: 201 S. Fairfax Blvd. at E. 5th Ave., Ranson, WV

Route: March to the Ranson Civic Center, then proceed to the polling place to vote.

RSVP for the March
