Early Voting is Now!

Vote in person through June 18 at one of these Early Voting sites:

  • Boonsboro American Legion
  • Clear Spring American Legion
  • Washington County Free Library (Main Branch)
  • Virginia Avenue Election Center

Early Voting: June 11–18, 7:00 AM–8:00 PM

Democratic County Commissioners Ballot Update

Three of the eight Democrats who filed to run for County Commissioner withdrew from the race after the official March 6 withdrawal deadline. As a result, their names will still appear on the primary ballot.

Democratic voters will still be asked to select up to five candidates from a list of eight names. The five remaining active candidates are:

  • Jonathan Fish
  • Les McIntosh, Sr.
  • Teri Pailen
  • Lara A. Shepherd
  • Dave Williams

Please help spread the word so voters are aware which Democratic County Commissioner candidates remain active in the race.

Washington County Indivisible will host a special session on Saturday, June 27, from 1:30–4:00 PM focused on protecting and nurturing our mental health while staying engaged in the work of activism.

Stamps are going up by a whopping 4 cents each on July 12, so we're trying to collect as many stamps as we can before then to save money on our upcoming mailing campaigns! Last week, Rush Hour Resistance celebrated our one-year anniversary on the bridge over I-70! We are on our summer schedule of 4:30-6:00. Meet us on the Appalachian Trail bridge on Friday, June 19 at 04:30 PM to help set up, or stop by before 6:00 PM to wave. Our letters aren't waterproof, so we cancel if it's raining.

If you have any suggestions for the message, please send them ASAP! Keep it to 30 characters (including spaces) or less.
