June 14 Update: No Kings Concert & Watch Parties

June 14 Update: No Kings Day of Action

We've received several questions about plans for June 14, so we'd like to clarify what's happening locally.

RISE UP, SING OUT

On June 14, No Kings and Indivisible are partnering with the Committee for the First Amendment to host "Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment," a nationwide livestream event. Instead of rallies, communities across the country will participate through local watch parties, gathering to celebrate democracy, community, and the freedoms protected by the First Amendment.

The nearest organized watch party is:

📍 115B S. Main Street, Chambersburg, PA
🗓 June 14
🕖 7:00–9:30 PM EDT

You can also host your own watch party or find additional events at:

About the Event

Rise Up, Sing Out is an uplifting evening celebrating the freedoms protected by the First Amendment — including freedom of speech, religion, the press, assembly, and protest. The 90-minute livestream begins at 7:30 PM ET and features an all-star lineup including Jane Fonda, Patti Smith, Bette Midler, Rufus Wainwright, Joy Reid, Wilson Cruz, Broadway Inspirational Voices, and more.

Communities across the country will gather to watch together, share food, connect with neighbors, and celebrate the power we build when we come together. Whether you're a longtime organizer or brand new to civic engagement, you're invited to join an evening of music, inspiration, and community.

As with all No Kings events, organizers are committed to nonviolent action, de-escalation, and lawful participation.
