The secret is out! No Kings is returning on October 17—but this time, the movement is taking its people power to the polls. We’re excited to announce that Washington County Indivisible will be part of the nationwide No Kings: Vote Early day of action, and we’re planning something a little different here in Hagerstown: a block party, a protest, and a celebration of voter power—all rolled into one.

👑 NO KINGS is Back — and This Time, We're Taking Our Power To the Polls!

The first No Kings mobilizations brought millions of people into the streets. On October 17, the movement is taking the next step: turning people power into voter power.

No Kings: Vote Early is a nationwide day of nonpartisan voter participation—bringing communities together to make sure every eligible voter has a plan, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count.

Here in Hagerstown, we’re making a party of it.

Washington County Indivisible is planning a No Kings block party and protest in Public Square, with music, community, plenty of No Kings spirit—and a very important message: make your plan and vote early.

This No Kings will look a little different from the ones that came before it. We’ll still show up. We’ll still make some noise. But this time, the action doesn’t end in the street.

It ends at the ballot box.

No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. We decide.

Join Hagerstown Rapid Response at the BOCC

Washington County Indivisible will join Hagerstown Rapid Response for a peaceful protest outside the Board of County Commissioners meeting calling for transparency surrounding a potential data center project at Martin Farm.

Recent reporting by Hagerstown Rapid Response has raised new questions about a confidential development presentation to County officials, nondisclosure agreements, and connections between the project team and the Martin Farm property, which has been marketed for data center development.

Bring a sign, bring a friend, and peacefully make your voice heard.

Peace Starts With Us: Join WCI at Fall Fest

Make Some Signs. Make Some Friends. Make Some Noise.

Sunday, September 20 | 3–7 PM​
​Hub City Brewery

Bring your creativity and join us for an afternoon of protest sign making and community! We’ll provide the sign-making supplies — you bring yourself, some friends, and your ideas.

We’ll also be collecting food donations for the Western Maryland Immigrant Rights Collective to support local immigrant families. If you’re able, bring a donation along.

No artistic talent required. Come make something that says what you want the world to hear!

Get Face-to-Face With Your Local Candidates

Here’s your chance to ask them yourself. At Candidate Speed Dating, you won’t sit in an audience listening to speeches—you’ll sit down face-to-face with local candidates for short, informal conversations about the issues that matter to you.

Weekly Food Donation Drop Off at Hub City Brewery

Can’t make it to one of our scheduled food drives? You can now donate anytime Hub City Brewery is open!

A WCI donation box is available Thursdays–Sundays, Noon–11 PM for food and essential supplies benefiting families supported by the Western Maryland Immigrant Rights Collective (WMD-IRC).

Just bring your donations to Hub City Brewery and drop them in the box. An easy way to help our neighbors whenever it works for your schedule.

Next WCI Rush Hour Resistance

Meet us on the Appalachian Trail bridge on Friday, September 11 at 4:30 PM to help set up, or stop by before 6:00 PM to wave. Our letters aren't waterproof, so we cancel if it's raining.
